The Alice Ferguson Foundation has a wonderful staff education staff. You can really learn a lot on the job from other employees. Everyone as distinct environmental specialties.

There is limited room for growth from an educator position. Many people stay in the role as educators for a long time. If you really love working with kids and working outdoors, and you don't need to make a ton of money, this is a great part-time position.

Lovely physical environment to work in. Staff very dedicated to the foundation's mission. Very exciting infrastructural improvements going on currently. Flexible work schedules possible depending on the position.

Very small organization with little room for advancement. Budgetary problems seem to surface frequently. Frequent staff turnover.
