Pros
Many people get a significant portion of social engagement from the workplace, and there is nothing wrong with this. It’s okay to want to go to work because you enjoy the people you work with. It also gives you a chance to meet new people, and you never know where those connections can take you in the future.
Cons
Full-time employment requires companies to offer their employees paid leave. This can be anything from sick leave and paid holidays to paid time off during certain bank holidays such as Christmas and Easter. Parental leave with pay is offered by some organisations, allowing professionals to spend time with their newborn babies. Paid leave varies from employer to employer but most offer staff a minimum leave period. The amount of paid leave you get depends on seniority, your employment contract and time served with the company.
