Pros
People in alibaba are easy to work with and get along with, the company has great employee care system, and the salary is usually good.
Cons
However the culture has a lot of room to be improved, there are conflicts about responsibilities and authorities across departments, the HR management, especially KPI mechanism is not making people work for one goal, instead it makes everyone over-competing against each other, which also makes promotion very difficult.
