Pros

I see none except filling out your resume. Well, not to defame anyone, but the kind of work I did here didn't really help me grow; instead, I lost the spark in myself as a person after working here. But if anyone is extremely ambitious(AKA AlgoUniversity's standard level ambitious)this is a nice place for you, provided you get the right team. Well, I do see a lot of positive reviews as well, but I don't know, this is my raw experience with the company, and there was never a day of me hoping to get a conversion but it just kept getting worse, eventually I left it.

Cons

where do i even start? no growth. You do the same repeated thing which isnt even a part of your jd. I worked even on sundays. Absurd.extremely abnormal timings.you have to work acc to their schedules.leaves-they pester you to work from home even after approving leaves.you might have to be involved with work even after working hours(which is normal in any other company, but here it's INTENSE,like even after working from 10 am, literally coming to the office first out of everyone and leaving the last and going back to your place yet you have to work on those calls). You'll have to work almost like a full-time employee and still not get a proper stipend. Conversion is hard. They give you false hopes. The core founding team is always on one word (which is not a con)But that ends up in politics they are good to you if you are working well, otherwise you'll notice the change in treatment. Zero career growth. They demotivate students in the name of mentor calls, gaslighting them into taking up the course. And oh yes. I did work with the so-called placements team-trust me...at the end of the day it's your own potential not because of the course or the team(which again they might have played a huge role, but i know the reality of placements is here.) I was looking after a group of 5 students, and in my entire duration at AlgoUniversity, not even a single one got placed. Your questions as a student will be dodged with sweet talk in the name of "the team is doing the best and looking into it-when THE TEAM IS JUST 1 OR 2 PEOPLE," "let's review your resume," and stuff.

Pros

The culture is perfect for anyone passionate about Competitive Programming and DSA. I had the opportunity to work on high-impact projects like AlgoArena, which provided hands-on experience with the MERN stack and real-world software architecture. Being part of the ATF Fellowship program also offered invaluable mentorship and a network of highly skilled peers. It is a great place to sharpen technical skills while contributing to meaningful products.

Cons

The workload can be quite intensive, especially during peak development cycles. It requires a high level of self-discipline and time management to balance technical tasks with the continuous learning expectations of the fellowship.
