Pros

Alexander's has fantastic customer service and products. Jeff Alexander is a good man who wants to provide excellent service to his customers, and for the most part the company does. Quality is of extreme importance, which makes it easy to talk to people and always have confidence that they will get a great product if they buy from you. Lunch program for employees provides a catered lunch 4 days per week for a very small daily cost to employees. Great parties for employees and customers.

Cons

Hard to please Unreasonable expectations for employees They don't want to hear your ideas or explanations Low employee morale High prices make it a difficult sale

Pros

It's not a demanding job. The manual aspect can actually be quite enjoyable. It's not overly challenging, and at least in this regard, your superiors are willing to assist you to ensure your work is efficient and effective.

Cons

The main issue is the consistent lack of sufficient workload. As it's an industry that operates seasonally, it's not suitable for those seeking long-term opportunities or career growth. Regarding co-workers, the environment has become highly toxic, with conflicts over work, gossip, disrespectful comments, individuals who belittle women without consequence, women freely discussing others' personal lives, work sabotage, and a complete lack of support from management. Workers are made to feel isolated and disrespected. There are also areas where employees are inadequately trained, and little recognition is given to those who strive and excel in their performance. This leads to demotivation and disappointment. Furthermore, there is a noticeable lack of managerial expertise when it comes to making decisions that directly impact the employees.
