Micro-managed. Very condescending director but I was the only report. Everyone else who ever reported to her quit. When I was hired into the role, 2 brand new analysts with minimal work history were put under me. Next to no training was provided. Anytime I asked questions I was told I wasn't utilizing my resources to find the answers, which meant reading through files to find answers that usually didn't exist. 30 hours of meetings a week quickly turn into 60+ work hours a week. When I tried to discuss the workload and condescending tone with my director, she said she knew it was a stretch role for me. Not enough pay in the world to miss out on evenings and weekends with my family. Especially when it all goes unnoticed and unappreciated. I left this job for my mental health. I loved the work I was doing but could not work under those conditions. Too many leaders not on board with the culture present when I first started with the company.
