Pros
- No previous experience in the field required, easy to get in and gain experience. - Biannual bonuses **See disclaimer below** - Great co-workers (at least in my department). - Biomanufacturing manager is pleasant. - Consistent hours (at least for lab techs). - PTO accumulation rate is acceptable. - Some room to move up, considering company growth rate. **Bonuses will only be received if you have not put in your resignation prior to funds being distributed. I learned this the hard way, as I was assured I would still receive a bonus after putting in my 2-weeks notice (which I did not). I blame HR and Finance for this bit of misinformation. So my pro tip is: don't quit until after bonuses are paid out.**
Cons
- Hourly wage is too little for a 4-year degree. - Many growing pains at this point in time, not very many people know what is going on in regards to projects, production, etc. - Upper management (I'm not talking about production management) is rather aloof, and doesn't deign to meet the people working for them.
