Decent salary, smart colleagues, often short-staffed - Senior Consultant Alchemy (NV) Employee Review

I really love the higher education focused culture of this company. Teamwork, support, and open communication are genuinely valued, and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined. The collaborative and supportive culture is my favorite part of working here.

Not much of con right now.

Most coworkers are nice to work with. Work life balance is somewhat okay.

Extremely unclear ways to advance, they do not follow the career framework they have rolled out & often lie to keep you around. They talk talk and talk more about being a great place to work, wanting to promote and celebrate employees, but they do the opposite. It’s all for looks to the outside. Company wide meetings often are a boys club with leadership talking with each other and making “jokes”. Communication is really terrible, and you have to pull teeth to get feedback to be given directly to you. Send lots of frivolous gifts no one actually wants. Lets clients steamroll and control the company and bully teammates. Goal posts are consistently moving. A lot of employees have been leaving, culture has been a downward trajectory since the new CEO started.
