Pros
-Great department for introducing new IT professionals to learn about the industry -Work environment and amenities -Night shift has downtime for self-learning
Cons
-Transitioning from NOC Support to any other department seems unlikely, but I wouldn't call it discouraged. In the past, a couple people made the leap out of the department, but it seemed like they were only being trained in what we do for a brief period of time before being moved out of the department. Most likely, other arrangements were discussed in those interviews.
