Pros
Good company to work for still. Flexible working is made possible and the general atmosphere amongst colleagues is very friendly. The business has great brands in the UK and the marketing campaigns are fresh and creative, considering how functional the industry is otherwise. Senior Management genuinely seem to want to improvev things and are looking at ways of how this can be done.
Cons
The culture & atmosphere have been stripped off personality over the last 1-2 years through the Dutch HQ increasingly dictating how things are to be done in the UK. There's now uniformity rather than diversity and there is a perceivable lack of motivation and resignation among many employees. Senior Management seem quite disengaged and communication to employees is limited in terms of transparency of what's going on. Whilst people are doing a lot of great work, this isn't really acknowledged on the right way - though it is something that is tried. A personal word of praise every now and then would go a long way but instead monthly achievement competitions are held, which don't really address the issue at all.
