Product vision in good but they dont want to come out from dwell and culture is also bad as said above - Developer Akken Technologies Employee Review

There are no pro's to Akken. Sure you can drink on Friday's but does that honestly make you a legitimate work place? No.

This place is a hot bed for scamming their customers into doing business with them by over promising and NEVER delivering. The product is buggy, non-intuitive and down right cheap. The systems servers always go down causing their customers undeserving panic and a feeling of constant unease. They also never make their deadlines for product implementation and are always late to important meeting with customers (aka - they don't respect anyone). Management does not train their employees and they don't give them the necessary resources to support the customer base. Their resources (i.e. laptops, filing systems etc) are so out of date is laughable. In all honesty Akken has to be one of the most shady, scam-induced small businesses in New England. Ask any former employee and they will tell you the same. If your a staffing agency looking for a management system you can do way better than Akken. A 4th grader could give you better service. Stay far away from this place.

They pay you on time. That's it.

1. Disrespectful to women 2. Their HR "person" is unprofessional, unresponsive and lazy 3. Higher up employees care nothing about quality of work they are selling 4. Flat out Lie to customers regarding pipe-line projects and add-ons to the software 5. They have their current employees come to glassdoor and write good reviews for them. 6. No Training for new hires 7. Overworked engineers who get lousy pay 8. Bare-bone and cheap Network infrastructure and security
