Pros

Transformational technology, experienced and positive team

Cons

On April 4, 2026, Airspace Link implemented a reduction in force to extend the runway, 40%+ of the team gone. Many promising, highly praised team members were let go with a 10 minute announcement teams call. Many of whom have families. Terminated effective immediately, and a pittance for severance. I read the review from October 5, 2024 and hoped something had changed, but it appears this is a pattern. There was constant optimism on Monthly meetings. Five new hires in the last few months leading up to the layoffs, many of them laid off before they finished onboarding. There is clearly a lack of respect for employees outside of the management level.

Pros

Airspace Link is a fast-moving, growth-mindset startup that is changing how Drones integrate into the U.S. and are managed by organizations across the country. The leadership and team are great, well-balanced, and make sure to take care of each other. Great hybrid/remote culture. Overall, highly recommend working at Airspace Link.

Cons

The team has experienced some normal growing pains as the product finds product-market fit.

Pros

The leadership team is always working hard to grow the company and to try and bring the vision to reality with all its customers. Its a very fast paced, start up environment but everyone still tries to have fun and it's easy to blame the CEO but its a slower moving market than anyone anticipated but from what I see, the growth is happening and more and more customers are joining the platform.

Cons

If you are unwilling to pivot, than this company may be a tough fit. It is about moving where and how the drone market is moving, sometimes very fluid. It is also a smaller company, so sometimes, hard choices must be made but it is still really fun to be in an emerging market and making transformative software that helps drone pilots fly safely.
