Pros
Decent place to build flight hours, at least when they still had routes to fly, pilot group was great and made some really good friends, Captain pay is actually decent for flying Caravans part 135, not so much for a First Officer. Flying experience is valuable flying in Class B airspace, in challenging weather, dealing with difficult pax, etc. Overall, a good look at what it's like to work for an airline.
Cons
Management is toxic, the chief pilot is great but most others in management don't respond promptly with emails and treat you with a condescending attitude. Communication between upper management and employees is nearly non-existent, which promotes rumors and gossip. Aircraft are maintained, but only to the extent that they are "legal" to fly, not much else. The kicker is the "training" contract, either 18 or 24 months depending on how many hours you come in with, which is a LONG time to be stuck there unless you have the $$$ to get out of it.
