      Williamsburg is a nice place to work.

      Cons

      Every single person who works at AidData is either a racist, or fine with working with racists. Each aspect of working at AidData - hiring, promotion, and firing - is guided by racist and misogynistic attitudes. Staff are selected based on personal biases and profound, deep-seated prejudice. Malignant narcissists reign supreme. No accountability for blatant discrimination whatsoever.

      You get good research experience as a student, and it looks impressive on the resume.

      Cons

      In my experience, I did a lot of work independently, so if you like to work alongside others in person, this may not be the best fit.
