Pros

Colleagues are great but most have left now. There’s only the management and a less than a handful of colleagues now.

Cons

Experienced delays in salaries. Once, the delay was 10 days long and we were only notified on the day we were due to receive it with no expected date in view. CEO shrugged off this delay blaming it on the clients. Telling us he would also like to know when they would pay. The lack of regard for his employees is appalling. Witnessed a few colleagues being asked to leave. Claims are not reflected in payslips, no clarity on which claims are paid or not. No internal HR, external HR not responsive. CEO’s ideal of flexibility is providing us with two shifts, 9-6pm or 7-10pm. No proper onboarding, pushed to the most experienced staff left.

Pros

Working at AiChat has been a rewarding experience, especially seeing how the team pulls together through changes. Our CEO Kester showed genuine appreciation for those who went the extra mile. What I appreciate most is the genuine care for the team. Kester is forward-thinking and really believes in what we're building and that enthusiasm is contagious. It shows in how decisions get made and how people are treated.
I've really enjoyed working with our Southeast Asia teams. They're talented, collaborative and make coming to work enjoyable. There's a real sense of camaraderie and shared purpose. I'm optimistic about where we're headed. The product we're developing is compelling, the team dynamic is strong and there's momentum building as we start the year. It feels like a place where you can actually make an impact and grow.

Cons

During peak periods last year, managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines was demanding. However, I'm pleased to see that the company has already addressed clearer project prioritisation, better resource planning and defined job scopes are now in place. The fast-paced environment remains energising and these improvements make the workload much more sustainable.
The leadership team's responsiveness to feedback is evident in how quickly they've made these operational adjustments.

Pros

- The team is supportive and easy to communicate with, which makes collaboration comfortable and efficient. - The remote work setup is flexible, helping save commuting time and making it easier to stay productive. - The salary is competitive and rewarding.

Cons

- The work environment is fast-paced, especially around project deadlines, which can sometimes feel stressful. - As the product continues to evolve, priorities can shift from time to time, so you need to be adaptable and comfortable managing changing focus areas.
