Pros

Great office, fun coworkers, parties and what not. This is a great company to jump-start your career, but not a place you'll want to stick around if you plan on making more money or moving anywhere in your career.

Cons

Good luck getting a raise. Good luck getting a bonus aside from some Amazon giftcards every year. Good luck scheduling anything. Good luck getting out of meetings you don't need to be at ever. Good luck getting through to your coworkers that you need help and that they should help you. Good luck getting out of your position to move forward. Good luck getting past management for any ideas. Good luck if you're on the receiving end of HR. Good luck if you upset anyone in the "inner circle". Good luck if you want to get promoted.

Pros

Everyone's opinion can be heard -- that's what I value most about the culture here. You don't have to be senior management to be able to pitch an alternative plan if you think a project might not succeed. There's a saying around here: "we're a flat organization." In practice, what that means is that the CEO doesn't even have an office, taking the open door policy to another level. Senior management is very open about the company's future, our current standing, and any problems we're facing. We've seen tremendous growth, and I'm proud to be part of a company that's so forward-thinking.

Cons

This is both a pro and a con, and anyone at Agosto would say the exact same thing: it's the culture here to turn on a dime if need be. Now, that comes with the territory of being a fast-paced company, and one that works with Google as a partner. So that can be fun at times, but it can be frustrating if a project is in the approval phase and then we have to go back to the drawing board. If we do turn on a dime, it's always for good reason (like market feedback or Google feedback), so it's the best for the company, but can still be frustrating if you've put a lot of work into a project.
