Pros

Partners are great to work for. You can take your career as far as you want, but it's consulting so be prepared to do whatever it takes to make the client successful.

Cons

It's consulting, so you put in a lot of hours. If you want to advance, your work life balance will suffer.

Pros

It's a rapidly growing company with plenty of opportunity. We're working in one of the hottest spaces - SaaS implementations - with some great companies, including Workday. I'm loving that in addition to consulting and implementation, I get to help build and shape our company. The leadership team is deeply experienced and committed to employee growth. The culture is about immediate feedback, so you always know how you're doing. We each have a coach to help us maximize our skills and potential. The office environment is both very supportive and very fun - continuous learning and a lot of laughter. The team is more experience (more grey hair) than most consulting organizations, so there's a lot of experience to be shared.

Cons

The work is complex and can become all-consuming near deadlines. Hours can be long, although most night folks are eating dinner with their families. Travel is required, and though the management tried to keep it to a minimum, it can get up to 30-40%. The support network is much more developed for people in the Pleasanton office than for remote workers, and although I know they're working on addressing that, it's a work in-progress.
