Thank you for the compliment and I genuinely appreciate the feedback on where we can improve. I will make the 401(k) match (I assume that's the terrible part) a priority.
Hopefully you're seeing an improvement on the ego front on the tech side over the last few months, but if not, please talk to Katelyn (HR Manager) with specifics. She and I spend a lot of time trying to eliminate that challenge - and we believe it has improved - but we could be wrong.
I am very sorry to hear you have only had one formal review in 5 years. Something is wrong. As you know, our philosophy is that each person gets a formal review annually, but should be getting real-time, 360 degree feedback on an ongoing basis. I would like to make sure we work this out. I'm not asking you to compromise your anonymity, but I encourage you to discuss this with your manager, with HR, or if you'd like, please feel free to talk to me about this.
