Pros

There is no monthly health insurance premium, and they offer a pension plan, both of which are pretty rare. Work culture seems to be better depending on the department and its respective management, with the best reputations coming from Communications and Data Analytics.

Cons

You are expected to work weekends and after hours without being compensated overtime (if you are exempt, salaried). Senior management and HR department can be incredibly hostile if you stand up for yourself or your colleagues; if you demand better conditions for your labor they see it as a betrayal to their members and will guilt trip you if needed. However, this hostility comes on a sliding scale, and is worst in the Organizing & Field Services (OFS) Department. Regardless of whether or not you have "organizer" in your title, you will be expected to relocate at a moment's notice, traveling and organizing alone at odd hours and living out of hotels at any place in the country. Often, they will not be clear on the true nature of your job duties throughout the hiring process.
