Pros

-good benefits -helpful retail training -50% discount -always exciting new product launches -fun holiday parties

Cons

very long hours. you will work early in the morning until later in the evening. you notice the difference before and after the l'oreal integration. the management team at store level are very keen about kpi's. years ago the conversation used to just be about how to make the experience special for customers and now numbers are the only thing managers talk about which is very numbing. the spirit of the company is radically different since the l'oreal change and the former ceo's departure in 2023. there are some bullying in the management to be cautious of, especially at the high-end street locations. inflexible scheduling part time does not get any benefits. low pay for a major city

Employee discount, very low income , flexible schedule,

Cons

I worked there for two years, and in December last year I was informed the store would close, which left me with no option but to resign on the same day due to the need to cover my rent. Strangely, the next day the same decision-maker announced that the store would remain open and that a new store manager would be appointed, a plan that has still not materialized after seven months. In the interim, the store has operated with interim managers and a reduced staff, while pay remains low and the culture has deteriorated, leading to ongoing turnover and a perception of practices that are not consistent with fair and respectful treatment of employees.
