Pros

Good product for top end of the market. Customer churn is very low.

Cons

Culture has really gone down hill. People are kept in the dark, Fear for their jobs. Transparency is an illusion. And collaboration has eroded into silo'ed work efforts. Company can't get new customers and is living off existing customers. Light weight C-Level staff - too many first timers who don't know Aerospike's business or it's market. They give good lip service to their company values, but are poor in their walking the talk.

Pros

The core product is genuinely strong and well suited for real time use cases across adtech, banking, and identity. The engineering talent is deep, and many coworkers are smart, collaborative, and sincerely invested in the company’s success.

Cons

Over time, executive decision making has increasingly felt disconnected from field realities and customer needs. In particular, recent leadership decisions from senior management, including the CEO and CFO, have been widely debated internally and have created significant frustration within the sales organization. From my perspective, a number of these decisions negatively impacted morale and contributed to instability in the sales team, with many strong performers choosing to leave. There was also a growing sense in the field that execution misalignment at the top made it harder to maintain momentum with customers and support growth initiatives effectively.
