Pros

Once a month, Aero Precision earns its 1 star rating by providing a stellar free lunch Friday experience. Compared to my previous employers, they are industry leaders at feeding their employees. They are also industry leaders at allowing employees to set extremely flexible schedules. I believe senior leadership does a fantastic job setting the precedent that a 9 to 5 schedule is simply not expected, an 11:30 to 3 is much more acceptable at Aero Precision.

Cons

The level of unprofessional behavior encountered on a daily basis was staggering. Each week there were new rumors, whether there was any truth behind these topics was not important, employees would spread information like a high school cheer leading squad. I have never encountered a less trustworthy group of senior management. I believe if I had the choice of sending an email with sensitive information to Aero Precision senior leadership or Hillary Clinton, the safer choice would undoubtedly be in the hands of Mrs. Clinton. Which brings me to the Senior Leadership team. I do not know how it is possible to find this many "unique" personalities and place them at the same company. Let me paint the picture for you, imagine 3 Donald Trump's heading an organization, each who disagrees with the other so strongly that they are willing to look like a complete fool with their counter argument just to suffice their pride. This, to my amusement, led to more arguments than an episode of jersey shore. The company culture as you can gather is not exactly top notch. The sad part is there are some very capable individuals spread across the organization. Anyone who has been with the company for 5+ years has certainly bought in to the toxic behavior. The sales department is broken into two teams, meaning two VP of sales. The amount of internal conflict due to this structure makes me question if this organization has ever heard of continuous improvement. There are no positives to this structure, only negatives. The benefits are horrible, including salary. Aerospace is a high paying field, Aero Precision has not adapted to the rest of the industry in these categories. Turnover rate is unbelievably high. In the 5 months that I was employed at Aero Precision I saw at least 15 individuals leave the company. Keep in mind this is a very small company (130 people). Of the people who left a large majority were new hires. Training is nonexistent. This is ultimately the biggest factor to why Aero Precision cannot retain employees. When you hire an employee a company should be investing time and energy to make sure this employee will be set up for success. Unfortunately, here employees are set up for failure. Training in the sales department was just put on my calendar for the formality of documenting that I received it. The actual training started off by watching my manager respond to emails and phone calls for the first 10 minutes. Once training began it was quickly de-railed into another topic of discussion.

Pros

I love coming to work each day, lots of friendly faces. Executive team is great at team building and encouraging us to want to work AND have fun. Flexible when needed as long as work gets done. We get some sort of extra all the time; cookies, ice cream, infused waters, free lunch once a month, encouragement to get out and be healthy, contests for team building. I have been in the work force for 26 years and haven't worked for a better company. **many of the reviews I read on here are ex-employees who were let go for their own bad behaviors, it always goes both ways and it is human nature to blame the other guy for what is wrong**

Cons

Some Middle Managers don't give credit or praise, but the receive credit for your job well done. BUT that happens in any company. Another thing that happens out in Corporate America is Middle Managers to Director level talking down to employees their own or other departments. I know the Exec team is working on turning this culture around. Leadership members have a monthly meeting to encourage personal/managerial growth. They have recognized an area that needs improvement and have started working toward that end.
