Pros

Very welcoming environment, very helpful people here helping you succeed the best way you can. Always bonuses going around if you want to pick up a shift.

Cons

Everyday I am assigned 10 patients in a unit of 20 beds, they're supposed to be 2 CNA's on the floor at a given time, but don't be surprised if you have up to 15 patients to take care of by yourself. Understaffing has been a problem in the last view months but has gotten way better. I work in ortho med surge , it is a very fast paced unit due to all the surgeries we get everyday. Working nights have been very fun here is the best option if you don't like being on your feet for long periods of time, Morning shift you will never get to really rest. At night it is very busy, mostly in the first 5 hours of the shift but we have the best nurses who love to make sure everything will run smoothly. Not every unit is like that here, I would say most of the units here are great to be a CNA in just not any telemetry units.

Pros

I worked with Advent Health back in 2003, At Sunbelt, Across from Florida Hospital on Rollins before the expansion and the current car garage was built. My Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehab was there in that location before the expiration, Advent was a wonderful company to work for, and when I had to separate from them it was very hard to do, I loved my work with the peoplel and the patients.

Cons

It was hard to work in a older facility that was not as up to date as many of the others. Even though we were right next to Florida Hospital and we were their immediate rehab facility of discharge choice, especially when there was respiratory therapy involved.
