Cons
The workload can be unbearable if you are a competent employee, and there is no relief in sight as there is lack of transparency around things like hiring freezes. Those who do not pull their weight are allowed to skate by, for the most part, while others pick up the slack. Leadership is incredibly disconnected from those who are doing the labor, which has only gotten worse as physical offices continue to close. They push back on ideas that are new unless they thought of it, you happen to be from the right legacy organization, or a male employee suggests it. Unpaid overtime cannot be the only solution to every problem. Especially when combined with blaming everything on staff taking PTO.
