Pros

When I started, there were opportunities, great benefits, and raises. That was years ago....

Cons

Corporate is very top heavy. If you review the org charts, you will see supervisors and managers with one direct report. Directors with less than 10 total employees under them. They give titles and raises just to do it up there but leave the revenue generating positions behind. For example, my site has not received raises in 2 years and question if it will be 3. Yet corporate has received them every year. Benefits have been slashed year after year. 401k for example is a scam. They not only cut it to match only 25% of what you put in but will then pay a dividend based off how the company is doing. 25% is laughable in comparison to competitors. The dividend may sound good but it is minimal and that is money that could have been in the employees account all year gaining interest but instead the company keeps it until the end? ATS customers will tell you, "It's sad to see how ATS is now. Use to be such a great company." Continue doing more with less mentality while being over worked and under paid.

Pros

Great time to sell into the manufacturing sector related to productivity and equipment reliability.

Cons

Operational driven company but constantly changing the sales org and strategy. "Leaders" that have no background in business development or revenue generation responsible for sales strategy. Wasn't uncommon to report to a new leader or move sales territories multiple times in a year but quota never changed. Top performers are expected to do and sell more but additional financial upside was out of the question. A select group of legacy employees and "leaders" made decisions in a bubble in most cases. I was a top performer during my entire tenure at ATS. I agreed to work out a two week notice to help transition my accounts but was terminated after three days. No one in middle management, director, or exec-level roles asked for feedback or even made the time to send an email wishing me well or thanking me for my contributions during my five years with the company. In fact, my health insurance was terminated with no warning before I left the last day. My contributions and sacrifices for ATS meant so little to the company that they didn't care that my two small children wouldn't have insurance for over a month when I tried to leave the right way.
