Advanced Correctional Healthcare Response
11yThank you for your response and for promoting our flexible schedules and professional development opportunities.
To address the concern of nepotism or family members receiving preferential treatment, most employees do not know that “family members” have been denied jobs, disciplined, and even terminated. ACH considers all employee hiring decisions, disciplinary measures, and terminations to be confidential. This information will not be shared with staff, regarding any employee, merely to satisfy idle curiosity.
Anyone with specific, objective concerns regarding a family member working at ACH has always been encouraged to speak with our President and Chief Operations Officer, a non-family member. To date, no such concerns have been reported to any member of management.
In fact, we are so excited about our employee referral bonus program that we encourage our staff to refer their own family and personal friends to work at ACH. This has resulted in multiple families and friends working together. We think this makes for a positive work environment.
Décor comes out of a separate budget than employee benefits/wages. We are appreciative that our owners care enough about their staff to dedicate a budget to creating a beautiful work environment.
We are proud that the corporate office continues to grow, creating many new open positions. This is evidenced by our organization being named to the INC 5000’s list of fastest growing healthcare companies three times. We now have approximately 60 employees in our corporate office and over 700 nationwide. No management positions have been reserved for family members.
We’re pleased to report that yes, raises and benefits have gotten better. Each year we revise our benefits based upon the employee survey. Through employee feedback we are able to give our employees the benefits they want, not what we think they want.
We completely agree that we have great employees at Advanced Correctional Healthcare.
