Pros

Smart+dedicated founder and team. Everybody trusts each other to put in the work necessary to get things done, and will go the extra mile to make something right. In other words, very little micromangement. Great culture, I actually don't mind hanging out with these people after work. As founders go, Steph is fantastic - she's the type to lead by example and is not afraid to be transparent about funding/company direction. Turns out that being a good person and going about things the right way inspires people to work hard, who knew? Product-wise, there is much potential and everybody is open to learning new processes/trying quick experiments to see what works and what doesn't. Team is also open to user feedback and not afraid to ask questions; It's a great environment for product people because you're able to see impact right away.

Cons

It's a startup, so there isn't a lot of guidance or blueprint, which can be good and bad. Communication can improve - since it's such a small team the dynamic can get too comfortable, with people (myself included) sometimes hesitant to say what needs to be said. Also, because we're pretty lean, benefits are non-existent (health insurance plz).

Pros

Flexibility to increase responsibilities and move up in the company quickly. Management is transparent, friendly, open to new ideas, and positive. Recognition for achievements and putting in extra hours. Couldn't ask for a better company culture. All team members are very smart and dedicated. Company is doing very well with outstanding growth and traction.

Cons

Typical for startups at this stage, no health plan or 401k yet, however the opportunity clearly outweighs this.

Pros

Its very easy to do the job. Just post some things about the company and take some screenshots and you get paid. You can literally do this job anywhere in the world if you have internet.

Cons

Its not an internship. Im not sure what skills you are supposed to learn from this internship because i got 0 marketable skills from this. I already knew how to post things on social media. The program structure is a joke and the person managing it has so many other so-called "interns" she hardly cares about what you are doing. I doubt half of the things i wrote/submitted was even reviewed because i never got any feedback. Also the compensation is so misleading. Its advertised to be 10/hr, but its really by assignment ($1 per fb post... etc.). The entire position is a scam so you promote their site to your network.
