Not micro managed & generally allowed to work independly with little supervision. Salaries kept low but topped up with 2-3 bonuses per year. Great co-workers. Lots of team building events. Casual atmosphere.

Difficult for women to get promoted- real estate development / construction is very much male oriented and favor men for advancement. Very conservative--not into risk taking so change is slow to happen. They give the 'we're like a family here' vibe but when push comes to shove, the actual family protects their interests and staff are sacrificed; business is business. Small family run company so projects are sometimes few and far between.

Convenient office location at downtown Vancouver.

It's whatever the management says. Staffs comment not being hear. No career development/promotion if you are not in the club.
