Compensation is lacking, benefits are terrible, and the work environment is outdated. If you weren't with the company as an intern or during a stronger job market, your job security is uncertain. There are many staffing firms, and this one is not particularly noteworthy in any capacity. Many of the company's top performers are benefiting from business generated during a stronger job market. Newcomers, however, are often unfairly labeled as under-performers for not achieving the same metrics that senior employees reached under very different circumstances including but not limited to, better jobs and job markets. The atmosphere is cliquish and stressful. A day doesn’t go by where there is not racist, sexual, disturbing, and offensive comments said loudly on the floor. There’s no company culture, aside from leadership thinking mandating in-office Friday “forced fun” where everyone complains about their “worst candidate of the week” counts. It’s not the best place for newcomers and they are often taken advantage of. For example, they are told they will get a sign on bonus and work in a hybrid environment but both are taken away upon the first day. It’s a revolving door of people with terrible retention rate for a reason. Overall, the work-life balance is beyond poor, working remotely or taking time off is discouraged. They treat you like you’re an essential worker with the amount you have to be in the office even on holidays. Further, they run the company like high school, telling new hires that they have to be in office during holidays due to “seniority reasons” so other people on the team can be remote or take time off. I wouldn’t wish this environment on anyone. In summary, consider other options.
