Pros
During my internship, I got the chance to build and ship multiple new features from scratch. It helped me gain a more holistic understanding of software development, especially through direct interactions with the founders. The close-knit team structure enabled me to learn about things I was curious about, even if it wasn't directly related to my role.
Cons
In a remote company, peer-to-peer learning doesn't happen as naturally as it does in an office setting. You'll need to be proactive to fully utilize the opportunity. However, they do have week-long meet-ups from time to time which help mitigate this challenge to some extent.
