Pros

No time clock, minimal dress code.

Cons

If you prefer to have your posts created by college interns using the free edition of Canva, then this is the place for you. Yes, they come off as professional. However, everyone has a dark side. I was let go for not fitting into the culture. What do I mean? Well, I preferred the gym after work, not going out to drink. I preferred spending time with my family, not those that I worked with. I will admit, being older, by many years compared to those that interned & worked there with them set me apart. Based on "keeping up" with the times, I have seen a massive turnover with this company. New faces consistently with only 4 individuals I see still remaining from 5 years ago. Think about this, if a company has a high turnover do you support this? While all may look well from the outside looking it, I felt violated when I was hired. Essentially they went as far into my personal life as they could. Trying to attempt to discuss health matters, which is HIPPA protected with them. I hope as you're reading this today John, you realize that I didn't forget. My time will come and you'll see you passed up on a fantastic opportunity to have me. Financially, I'm not sure they are so set. Consistently moving locations leads me to believe that they are either not able to afford these "prime" locations or they are rent jumping. They offer a large amount of interns the opportunity to work there which minimizes overhead. Issue with this is, one week it's person A working on the client and the next week it's person B. This can infuriate a client as they will question why the designs and verbiage change constantly. I am predicting the reply back from the business to read something along the lines of "Hi Brandon, we let you go because when you interviewed we saw potential in you. We did not take the time to read your resume or realize you only had a high school education. We needed someone that could create a college level post, and you're graphic design was novice." I will point out some pros though. While your there, the culture is captivating. They instill confidence in you. They recreate the imagination to open future visions. From what I remember it felt as if I was with a group of friends as opposed to coworkers. This is what led to me giving them three stars as opposed to one. They aren't a complete waste but do have much room for improvement before they ever break out as a Fortune 500 company. UPDATE: Changed to 1 star based on the reply of "false" accusations. This just shows what kind of company they truly are. Also, why would I take the time to call you? I have in the past, and actually John I spoke with you directly a few times since my departure. You just caught yourself in your own lie now. Would you trust a company that has ZERO BBB accreditation and isn't recognized by Trust Pilot? If you peek at the Instagram following they have, a modest .05% user activity and their followings come in spikes. This is typically a profile that will buy followers. The average user activity is around 10% when you have true accounts following you. They will show growth on your social media by having friends and other businesses "like" the content. They share posts between each other to make it seem as if they are actually making headway. If I was a business owner, I'd take a good, long look at your following. If it's SEO that you are paying them for, ask to see the statistics. What is your average PPC? If it isn't under $1.50 or less, then you're loosing profit. If your conversion ratio is under 30%, then you are loosing profit. Don't fall victim to the high class appeal of this business. It's anything but high class. Last note is, you can build your own website nowadays. SquarePants, WIX, and other sites make this user friend and simple. Eliminate your overhead and hosting fees by handling this yourself. If you need creative design, Canva, Adobe Express, and others can produce the same average results that they are faster, more customized, and tailored to you.
