Underpaid, undervalued and understaffed - Customer Service Representative AdaptHealth Employee Review

Pros

Remote work, being able to help patients

Cons

Management is disorganized and often unresponsive, leaving employees to navigate constantly changing policies with little guidance. Miscommunication is constant, and blind transfers on the phone happen all day, often resulting in employees getting unfairly yelled at by frustrated callers. Raises are minimal and do not reflect workload or responsibilities, and the company recently eliminated the small Christmas bonus, which was taxed anyway. There is no option for unpaid time off and employees are forced to use PTO even in emergencies or when sick. Workloads are high and stressful, and support for employees is lacking. Additionally, the billing department was moved overseas, creating further confusion and delays. Upper management seems disconnected from day-to-day operations, creating a frustrating and demoralizing environment.

Thank you for this feedback. We are looking at our PTO program and continue to look at our rewards and recognition program. If there are workload issues, I suggest you meet with your manager to discuss.

Pros

Direct managers are there for you, but not too often as they are stretched thin.

Cons

Constantly overworked, underpaid, and understaffed. Currently under a nation wide hiring freeze with many people quitting/leaving, making others have to do the work of 2+ people daily. Severe lack of communication among many groups leading to constant errors needing fixed. All due to upper management making changes without informing people below them, who will be directly impacted. Nobody feels appreciated by company as a whole as we keep being dragged around and told what needs to be done/done better.
