Pros

New Homes are in demand.

Cons

Sales people are licensed real estate agents working on a strictly commission basis but are often regulated like employees. Sales staff is expected to meet their sales quota, but also be the design gallery specialist, Produce all of their own marketing/advertising materials and campaigns, provide their own computer, do all administrative work associated with listings, signage, marketing strategy, visit realtor offices weekly, plan events and execute them and pay for all expenses out of pocket and be reimbursed, do production meetings with builder staff weekly and walk all the homes under construction inspecting them and reporting back to production, be the sole contact with customers during their home's construction... in other words besides selling the homes which itself is a full time job, they expect you to do 3 other jobs which is impossible to do but they insist on it. Typically there is little to no appreciation or recognition of a job well done when a sales person gets high marks from their customers on company customer satisfaction surveys or sells more homes than expected.

Pros

The company was great, everyone there was friendly and it was like having a huge family. I worked in Pensacola and moved, but I wouldn't change my experience with Adam's Homes. The president and CFO maintain a place where you are appreciated. Jamie,Angelica,Kat,Tammie, they where always there for me and always made me feel heard. These ladies need a raise just saying. Another thing Mr.Adams has to be the most amazing person to work for, between the Christmas party,Mardi gras and seeing him around and saying hi he was always friendly and never made you feel unknown.

Cons

Although the place is a great place to work, behind the scene isn't always what it looks like, there was a lot of drama and a lot of things that weren't worth the pay. The pay isn't the best at all and there's no benefits but even if there was the pay wouldn't be worth having them. I feel like there are certain things that need to be looked at in the cost analysis position that needs attention, although the work wasn't hard, the way certain people treat you isnt the best. That's the only down fall. But the good out weights the bad for me.
