Pros

Get free team lunch once a week, birthday team celebrations, small perks occasionally

Cons

- CEO is very bossy and unpredictable, he doesn't trust his team and doesn't have his team's trust. He kicks people out whenever there is jeopardy in the company's finance/operations. - No sense of achievement and ownership in this company. Whatever you work on, it is extremely hard to get the approval from managerial level. - No transparent communication. The CEO always hide key information from the team make it difficult to implement decisions. - Disorganized structure. No KPI, no proper job allocation, no one stays in the company for more than one year. - Hierarchical. Far from a flat structure, almost everyone needs to report to the CEO directly, and obviously, he doesn't have enough time to respond to all, a lot of work got delayed.

Pros

Generally it is a casual work environment with flexible hours. The non-upper-management team is young and fun, mostly because they are all interns or contractors either still in school or recent graduates. In order to incentivize employees there are some perks, like small giveaways and a weekly team lunch. The company believes in good technology, so laptops and machinery are good to work with. It is decent intern experience if you have literally never worked anywhere, now they have hourly pay instead of a stipend that was under minimum wage. You also get to meet and interact with investors.

Cons

Management is condescending to interns and other contractors. Somehow they will use the fact that juniors don't have experience to negate ideas and compensation but will expect more output than what is typically asked of juniors. CEO does not give constructive feedback and is very rude to the entire team. Hours are bad because you may need to have meetings late at night with Asia team. There is no loyalty to employees. They will let go of people if they are not happy with their work without prior forewarning or promise full-time employment with no intention of keeping that promise.
