Pros

Great people to work with. The consulting team is what makes it worth it. Good pay too.

Cons

Upper leadership is out of touch with employee needs. Too many accounts a single employee needs to manager. Very stressful environment. Escalations often handled poorly. Contracts can be awkwardly or vaguely worded leading to scope creep

Pros

I’ve truly enjoyed my time at Active Cyber. The leadership team here is exceptional, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation and ensuring that the company remains ahead of the curve—especially when it comes to integrating AI solutions into our work. Their forward-thinking approach not only drives our projects but also creates an inspiring environment where every idea feels valued and every challenge is seen as an opportunity for growth. Working here means being part of a culture that embraces change and fosters creativity. The management is proactive, always on the lookout for cutting-edge technologies that keep us competitive in a rapidly evolving industry. I appreciate how they invest in training and development, empowering employees to leverage AI and other advanced tools to improve processes and deliver top-notch solutions. This commitment to innovation makes every day exciting and reinforces why Active Cyber is a great place to build a career. If you’re looking for a workplace where leadership is committed to progress and your professional growth is a priority, Active Cyber is the place to be.

Cons

The work can be challenging, but that's par for the course in the consulting world.

Pros

We are a top rated partner with many of the vendors we service.

Cons

No onboarding for new employees. Extreme lack of resources within the company, making it near to impossible to do your job, which has a negative impact on the end customer. Disorganized repository of internal resources - nothing is in a central repository so you have to search for everything and/or have things pre-bookmarked. We don’t internally use the services we provide implementation services for like Workday or Okta - it’s a joke! Management is non-existent when you need their assistance.
