Pros

Free hugs! Staff genuinely care and want to help others Tangible desire to continually improve and excel as a company Well developed 30-60-90 day training plans You will learn the business of healthcare here better than at any clinic or insurance company Values independent thinking and resourceful problem solving - you are NOT just a "cog in the wheel" here It's true, not everybody makes it here, but those that stay and strive for excellence in their roles are generally rewarded and recognized for their contributions Paid internship opportunities for college students Negativity isn't well tolerated (in most areas) which fosters a more positive environment

Cons

Continued siloed perspectives creates unnecessary misunderstandings between teams - some people will blame others for what was or wasn't done but it repeatedly stems from a lack of understanding There are performance metrics available for nearly all roles but info isn't always shared by mgmt with staff who would benefit Not all managers and directors are well-skilled in developing their staff whether on site or remote, but this is improving

Pros

ActivStyle is a great place to either start our or take the next step in your career. Working for a small company allows all employees to have input and the opportunity to make a big difference. This opportunity can look like a challenge, but for those who are wanting to make a positive difference in peoples lives and strive to succeed this is a challenge worth accepting.

Cons

Those seeking to have a small role that is under-the-radar may not succeed in this company. Everyone is accountable for their job and plays and important role in the success of the company.
