Pros

Free food and nice teammates

Cons

Only come to this company if you want to be burned out within the first few months and micromanaged by leadership. Everyone in the company has either quit, been fired or is still there, but planning their escape. All of the managers that cared about their teams were let go and now company morale is down. Work-life balance is terrible because nothing in the company works and everything eventually breaks. The COO doesn’t take burnout of his employees seriously and tells us not to use the word “burnout” because it’s a “serious medical condition”, completely undermining how we feel. You end up doing 3x the amount of work than what’s defined on the job description. PS and engineering teams are overworked because the company keeps advertising features that doesn’t exist and puts pressure on those teams to try and get them out in an unrealistic time, causing the quality of the product to be terrible. You’re also constantly worried about if you’ll be the next one let go due to leadership constantly putting new people on the chopping block. You’re under a constant microscope and you will hear frequent complaints over things that you have no control over. The executive team looks down on employees learning new skills because they think that you’ll ask for more money, so they’d rather keep you stagnant. Be prepared for HR to implant 3 fake reviews after this one. This company is a joke and we’re all laughing.

First, please be assured that we never pressure anyone to write any Glassdoor review, and all the positive ones are as honest as the negative ones. Deploying a complex product is never easy but we do not misrepresent our capabilities. We have the best customer retention numbers in the industry and our customers rave both about our product and the caliber of our customer-facing teams that support them. Please trust us that your hard work does not go unnoticed. We hear you, in that you feel there is often too much pressure and that your experience is different from others who wrote positive reviews here. Unfortunately, a startup can be a high pressure intense environment. And no matter how much we would like to, we cannot turn the clock back to the “good times” when capital was cheap and abundant and we were able to be more flexible with work arrangements and the productivity we expect out of our employees. That’s true not just for us but for the whole tech industry, at this point. Your wellbeing is important to us and if you are burned out, please talk to your manager or a member of our People team to either take a break or work together on solutions that help balance out your workload. If you feel this is not the right fit, we can help you transition to your next opportunity in good faith.
