      This US Chapter of the world-wide humanitarian organization ACF is truly humbling, and you really appreciate clean water, hot or cold, all the mod cons we have and how spoilt we are to live in the US.

      Cons

      There is always some place in crisis, so there is always something to catch up on tomorrow.

      Pros

      - Do good humanitarian work overseas - General staff in the offices are very friendly, approachable, and lovely to work with. - Benefits were decent (good US health insurance, generous PTO (18 days a year to start and four summer Fridays)). Retirement doesn't vest for three years.

      Cons

      - Leadership was not communicative and lacked empathy when laying off a large proportion of the company including not following their own HR policies. -Salaries were below what similar NGOs paid.
