Cons

Acteon was once an up and coming dental manufacturer that was making a name in the industry. Over time glaring issues have grown in every single department with empty promises of resolutions. An excessive number of disgruntled internal employees have left, to the point where no announcements are made when anyone in the company resigns or is let go... upper management just puts the blinders on and pretends people still respect Acteon. You never know when you call corporate if that person still works at the company or not. I tried to look past it when I came on board; but it has gotten to a point where it affects every facet of the business in the US. Issues continue to grow; but employees with the knowledge to bring resolution to them are leaving constantly. The imaging products are riddled with quality issues. Most of your time is spent on product issues and trying to convince distributors to still recommend you. Acteon has their own service techs but the team is far too undermanned to keep up with broken units. Trained dealer techs would be the best answer but Acteon has yet to make a real attempt at training. Too many people at the company are willing to put band-aids on issues instead of truly resolving the task at hand. Upper management is in well over their heads and it’s been exposed this year. A lot of people cared to see this company succeed; but most of them have either been let go (occasionally without merit) or were wise enough to quit at this point.
