Pros
Pays attention to senior management, sometimes...
Cons
Everyone else is disregarded. Let's be clear - this is an acquisition company, not an insurance company. They buy, buy, buy then do not fulfill responsibilities associated with providing proper support to those agencies. They do not properly train accounting and it shows. The turnaround in that department alone is extremely high due to inadequate training and long hours. Every other support department is continuously short staffed due to rapid growth, and instead of having the foresight to anticipate these things they just burden their employees even more. Every agency partner I've spoken with has shared the same grievances. Whenever these issues are brought up to headquarters there are promises of change coming which I heard for 3 years. They aren't coming. Also, I saw another commenter note the HR department is not to be trusted. This I can 100% agree with. I went to HR for advice over a discrepancy with my boss over workload distribution. Still awaiting that advice, I attempted to reach out several times to the HR individual I'd spoken with initially. She ghosted me so I just tried to avoid the situation unsure of how to move forward. I later learned from MY BOSS that HR told her the entire conversation we had. Low and behold I was 'laid off' a month later. 0 confidentiality, do not trust these people. Further, Acrisure rewards the wrong people and encourages cutting cost to the detriment of their employees. I fought against this for years, but slowly kept losing. Don't get me wrong there are some good qualities, but the problems are so glaring it's difficult to acknowledge the positives.
