Pros
It may sound cliche but I love coming into work everyday. The flexible schedule has allowed me to come in as early as I want which is key with my commute. Everyone in the office welcomes new employees with open arms and is willing to help with anything you need. The work day is filled with laughter and the office is always buzzing with new ideas. I love Aciron's innovative and collaborative culture because I learn something new every day. I am a new hire and I would highly recommend Aciron to anyone looking to join the team! Other pros include: -Flexible work environment (no set hours) -Fun company culture (office social activities) -Monthly team lunches (we are an office full of foodies!) -High level of autonomy (no one will micro-manage you) -Amazing location (right off MBTA red line, great shops and restaurants) -Collaborative work environment (asking for help is encouraged) -Everyone (including upper management) is open to new ideas -Positive work environment (constructive criticism is the only type of criticism given) -Great work/life balance (generous vacation and holiday allowance; flexible working hours) -Internal promotion (room for advancement) -Continually learning new things! -Meaningful tasks (no busy work for new hires)
Cons
Aciron is a small company and I can understand why it would not be a good fit for everyone. If you are looking for a highly structured corporate environment then Aciron is not for you. Salary is about average for an entry-level position.
