Pros

Good working hours and quiet environment.

Cons

In my opinion, I think it should be very obvious to me and to everyone reading these reviews that the boss Jerald Lie is lying and writing multiple 5 star reviews for his own company to make himself look good. He is publicly proving to everyone why his employees over many years have called him terms such as fake, toxic, unreasonable and cannot stand him. He even went to engage a PR company to publicise himself and is on various places online acting as some "business mentor". Please don't support such a person or his business!! If you are a staff, work in a centre that has basic ethics. If you are a student, enrol elsewhere soon!! IMO, the few 5 star reviews are clearly both written by Jerald to fake talk how good he and his business is. Notice how the 2 reviews on 27 Feb and the 1 on 17 Feb all have the same pattern in using dashes after the first sentences to elaborate details (which is unusual writing style) and talk roughly the same things? 1 review mentions how good the monthly sales incentives are, but in reality every sales staff find the incentives pointless as they are so low ($30, $100) they can barely can buy a few macdonalds value meal with it, assuming they can get it in the first place. The review also talks about how good the salaries are. A list of salaries is available on Glassdoor itself, you can see how much lower than market rate the salaries at Achievers Dream is, imagine being paid 3k (lower than a fresh graduate) and saying it is good? The boss is greedy and does not want to share his profits with his staff but wants to pay them as low salaries as possible, manipulate the employees, waste their youths, paint fake promises to them and then keep as much profits as possible for himself despite making decent profits. Notice that the 5 star review on 17 Feb also has the same pattern and uses the same dashes to elaborate further after the first sentence and talks roughly about the same things? I think clearly, this is another review the disgusting Jerald wrote to paint himself and his company in good light. Here he tried to praise himself: The boss is tough but fair, pushing for company growth while still being reasonable . Autonomy with clear boundaries—you have the freedom to work, but expectations are firm. A real employee will never write such things, it is so obvious it is fake and written by Jerald himself to self promote. Notice the 5-star reviews on 30 Dec (“Review for AD”) and 27 Feb (“Employment Review”) use similar headings and also talk about the same things? Real staff don’t usually use “Review” in their headings, they simply say whether it is good, or point out certain things. All these reviews also talk about the same things, about how the system and structure is good, how well supported and happy they are, how good management is. IMO, it is very sad that businesses such as this company is conducting business in such unethical ways. Please don’t support such a person or his business. If you are a staff, work in a centre that has basic ethics. If you are a student, enrol elsewhere soon. Don’t trust the positive reviews on this Glassdoor page and elsewhere, many are written by the unethical boss. Don't doubt the long history of staff who cannot stand working for him.

Achievers Dream Learning Centre Response

As part of the HR & Management team, we take feedback seriously, but we will not allow false claims and defamatory remarks to go unaddressed. Suggesting that positive reviews are fabricated by our founder, without any proof, is both misleading and damaging to the integrity of platforms like Glassdoor. Over the past few months (Feb to Jun' 25), there has been a clear pattern where one individual posted nearly 30 negative reviews across various platforms, most of which were removed by Glassdoor after they were flagged for violating platform guidelines. This coordinated attempt to discredit the company does not reflect the reality of our workplace. Our salary structure, incentives, and career progression are explained during the recruitment process. No one is compelled to accept a role or compensation package they are uncomfortable with. Claims of "manipulation" and "fake promises" are unfounded. They do not align with the experiences of many dedicated, long-standing employees who have chosen to build their careers here. We believe in addressing real concerns through the proper channels, not through anonymous, malicious attacks. We remain focused on building a professional, ethical, and growth-driven environment for our employees and students.

Pros

AD is a company that places emphasis on both students’ learning experience and staff welfare. From a teacher’s perspective, the company is constantly working to improve the quality of lessons and enhance its offerings to better support students. There is also a focus on innovation, with new ideas introduced to benefit students’ learning. The company also makes an effort to care for its staff through initiatives such as company lunches, team events, and regular feedback sessions. Feedback is taken seriously and implemented where feasible, for example, the introduction of wfh arrangements and compensation for replacement classes. While not every decision made by management is perfect, the boss is open to feedback and shows a willingness to reflect and continuously improve.

Cons

the working hours may be unconventional and not suitable for everyone, especially parents!

Pros

I think it was a great experience. Coming back as a part-timer after being a student there felt special,, like I got to see the other side of things. Helping out with admin stuff like student registrations, giving tours, printing worksheets, and packing ClickFunnels orders helped me feel productive during the long holiday although some of the tasks require alot of effort to do properly. I also liked doing diagnostic consultations even if the follow-up calls with parents might be something I dont look forward to still cos abit shy hahahah but it’s better than when I first came to work at AD. What I enjoyed most was definitely the people and culture. Everyone was super friendly, hardworking, and always willing to help each other out. It felt like a team that genuinely cared about both students and each other. The management team was also really supportive and open, which made it easier to learn and grow esp Aishah she very nice hehe. Overall, I’m really thankful for the experience and everything I got to learn!

Cons

It is a 5 day work week and you may be required to work on both weekends!
