Pros

Pay is OK. Seemly friendly atmosphere, specially when Brad comes to town.

Cons

Front line managers make fun of the 40 and over, if you miss up is not a friendly experience, hope you like the smell of pot, parking lot is full of employees that smoke it. No room to grow unless you are friends with the click. Is a revolving door, typical call center.

This is Brad (CEO) and I want to share my disappointment that you did not have the experience from Freedom that I personally value and take tremendous pride in. We are not perfect; we do care and will work hard to constantly get better and be an amazing home for the 750 teammates I call friends. Pay is good, it is a friendly atmosphere... thanks for that. In terms of 'messing up' - I am personally sorry that not 100% of our team is successful (I certainly wish everyone was), but we do work hard to hire, train, develop and create a culture of success. In terms of advancement, we are growing faster than ever in the 12 year history of our special company and have had more promotions/advancement last year than ever before. We have 750 employees, and are looking to grow hugely over the next year... and I promise we will continue to work hard to perpetuate a culture that has built our great team and that has earned us "Best Places to Work" many years running. I wish we were that for you, but I also hope everyone who we've ever touched (even unsuccessfully) finds the right place for them to succeed. I stand behind our Phoenix managers, leaders and our team. I will visit the Arizona office to reiterate (once again) that we are a special place, a caring culture and a team that works hard to support each other. Trust me that we care. Pros

- The people are generally very kind and collaborative broadly. - I believe the company is genuine in its mission to only earn profits by helping everyday Americans move forward on the path to a better financial future. - The company at large and some of its leaders aren't afraid to try things and then pivot if they don't work to try something else, instead of doubling down over pride or ego or stubbornness.

Cons

- There's a lack of clear and strategic leadership that leaves job ambiguity, which places the employee at a disadvantage with performance measurement, which is how they award quarterly bonuses. Without clear SMART goals, it becomes a game of bring me a rock, but not that rock. - Towards the end, they were implementing a start-up entrepreneurial mindset style that was leaning away from valuing work/life balance and getting more demanding and desperate in attempts to meet metrics.
