Wonderful company, Definitely feels like family - Senior Media Buyer/Planner Acento Advertising Employee Review

This place really cares about its employees and the work it puts out. The CEO is friendly treats everyone equally, from VP to interns. The culture is fantastic and makes the work environment enjoyable. Pay is comparable to other larger agencies in the city and benefits are good. A lot of agencies feel like a sweatshop. Acento does not. It's advertising, so obviously there are long nights, but the balance is there.

Since it is a small agency, you do have to wear a lot of hats. This isn't a con for me, because there is a good work-life balance, but it may be for some.

There's nothing positive I can say except that some people here are nice.

The list can be extensive and may include bad management, extreme micromanagement, notorious favoritism, and atrocious creative leadership. Now, what truly made me realize I needed to leave was when, during a meeting, there was the heartbreaking news of someone's significant other passing away, and the CEO's first words were a joke about it, followed by his sycophantic group laughing at it. Right there I knew I had to leave, and I'm really happy I did.
