Pros

Walking into the new HQ facility is like a shot of espresso. There is always something happening. New technology demos, visitors from around the world, saying hi to team members you know... and ones that you don't yet. The variety of teams and operations you encounter just by taking a break to walk by the warehouse to the 3D printing store is inspiring and makes you feel like you're part of something huge. Interest in learning about new tech (even outside of your """role""") is incredibly important for full-time employees: even if you are tackling a tight, surprise deadline (it's tech), you only grow at Accucode by contributing unique ideas and processes in a quickly-changing industry that demands it. You can't be afraid to give or take criticism. It's a team effort always... Just going with the flow and keeping a low profile won't cut it. And you probably will not feel like part of the team. We've had to lean on each other a lot through COVID, and came out as a company on top! The CEO really cares about every employee being happy and his door is always open if you want to talk.

Cons

Accucode has growing pains right now. Everyone is swamped and miscommunication or lack of communication between teams and employees is an ironically natural side effect... but it's not sustainable. With all of the changes, we need more consistent internal communication and company culture.

First and foremost, thank you for your review and your honesty. We love to hear excitement and enthusiasm from our staff, not only for our new facility, but also for every new product and venture we take on at Accucode! I still refer to Accucode as a 25 year old tech start up as we are constantly evolving with new technologies and it is EXCITING! Our staff is integral to the success of each product and/or project we deliver. We value everyone on our team and you can easily walk though the facility and see that it is truly a team environment; everyone helps everyone, we are a cohesive unit. We do work hard, we all seem to share the same passion, dedication and commitment to excellence which makes us an amazing team. From top management down, you see managers engaged, approachable and most are fairly funny too! Our management truly cares about our staff, mentoring, and providing feedback. Our new facility has allowed Accucode to now only grow in staff and revenue, but to also provides more opportunities to staff as well as our customers. Sure, we are going through some growing pains, but it feels GREAT to be growing! Communication is vital to any organization as is adaptability to changing plan, processes and projects. We appreciate you recognizing that there is a need for increased communication and creating an amazing company culture. It is easy to forget sometimes that not everyone has been with us for 20 years and we recognize that. We have plans to help better and build our culture and as always, please feel free to come talk with me with your thoughts! We are also currently working on some additional tools to help increase visibility, engagement and communication across the company.
