This place offers your run of the mill office work and as long as you can sit at a desk for hours on end, work by yourself and communicate through instant messaging or email, you’ll be fine. People either work from home or in office. If you’re in office, then you’re able to listen to music while you work, have lunch or snacks at your desk, and pretty much wear whatever you want. Management is lax about coming in late or needing time off, they typically always approve it. There are new owners that aren’t friendly but most CEOs and VPs aren’t likable anyways. Pay is average but you’re able to negotiate once you learn more and start doing more. People gripe about the work conditions but it’s not that bad. Do your job and go home. That’s pretty much all it is here. No phone work and you’re in a quite, air conditioned space where you can work on your own. Occasional office lunches are provided along with coffee and a stocked breakroom with snacks and large couches for lounging. Always a chance to learn a new department and possibility move into management if you want to.
