Pros
I worked at AccuData for nearly ten years. I started as an entry-level customer service representative with zero marketing experience. I left AccuData as a VP leading multiple departments. I think that speaks for itself in terms of the growth potential of this organization. Working with people to achieve their career goals was always a top priority. Of course, it always starts within. Guidance and career paths are there for those who are willing to work for it and raise their hands. I miss my work family dearly. I left only to pursue advanced educational goals outside of the industry. These next steps in my career were only made possible because of the hands-on, real-world experience I received on a daily basis at AccuData (service, marketing, personnel management, financial management, sales, product development).
From a stability standpoint, AccuData has great earning potential. It has been a few years since I left, but I know that this company is always focused on "what's next" for cutting-edge products and services. Sometimes product change to keep up with a rapidly changing technology industry can frustrate some (hence, some of the other reviews I see on here), but it is that change and ability to adapt that keeps AccuData at the top. If you are interested in an environment that is challenging, rewarding, and always exciting, then AccuData is the place for you.
Fun!! Forget the career growth & financial stability for a moment...these were some of the best years in my career/life. Friends around every corner, in every office.
Cons
As mentioned above, developing new products and services in an ever-changing industry can be tough sometimes. While change is a necessary evil, I do get that it is frustrating for some.
