Pros

There's something about a negative work environment that create a bond between employees. There are many intelligent Program Managers, Sales Managers, Coordinators, and others working at this company. Industry is cool- opportunities to network, attend events, learn more about your city are abundant. However, you must do this on your own dime, on your own time.

Cons

Everyone at this company is underpaid except the 'leadership team'. Employees who are not in sales positions make at the bottom of the market rate (or below). 'Leadership' team is very political- employees have to be careful what they say. Disagreements or different opinions are not welcome. Employees are made to feel disposable- if it's not working for leadership, there is no investment in employee training, working on goals or plans, etc. Your ability to connect with leadership and make sure you're saying and doing the 'right' things is the most important thing at Access (oh, and money). Training is minimal- you're thrown to your job and expected to succeed with minimal formal or informal training. Biases abound at this company- looking around, you'll see the majority of employees are from 20-30 years old (except leadership), are white, and female. Diversity doesn't exist here, whether that's cultural, racial, thought, background. Independent contractors are hired to do full-time employee work. They are trained by the company to run programs as a way to save money. Culture is stressed here with little understanding of how employees perceive leadership, the company, the brand, or each other. It's a joke to employees to sit through culture 'trainings', and not taken seriously. Bottom of the ladder in terms of benefits- minimal contribution to employee medical/dental/vision, very minimal vacation time, essentially no fringe benefits provided by the company. For a company dominated by females, the understanding and accommodation for working mothers is underwhelming. No investment in your education or development. Want to join an industry group, attend a workshop, network? That's not the company's responsibility. Promotions based on proximity to 'leadership' team. How close you are with the COO, CEO, etc dictate your success.

- horrible work/life balance. (aka you have no life outside of work) - The commissions break down between the (3) service roles is unfair - HR is not your friend - constant changes in SOP's
