Pros

You have 1 week off for Christmas Break

Cons

Management and employees have the "we are family red flag". I was accused of stealing a laptop I had to send back and have to send in proof of the weight on a receipt that I didn't. Was accused of making my own schedule and had to send in a screenshot of my texts to prove that it was approved by a different manager. I also had to send screenshots to prove I was working when their tracking system said I was not. Morale of the story if you don't suck up to management they will make you miserable.

Pros

Communication is superb throughout projects. Even though it is fully remote work, you are never left alone and always encouraged to contact teammates in the case you need help. The work can be fun and challenging and has really grown my skills in video production.

Cons

The lack of in person meetings always creates that seperation and makes you feel alone in your work but they Accelerate every year does a good job of actively combating that.

Pros

It was honest work. Becomes a little tedious at times, but all computer work does. I typically had a clear schedule of what the day required, and could execute most days without being disturbed or sidetracked with other things. The staff for the most part was friendly and professional.

Cons

Management and communication channels got a bit messy when things got messed up. There wasnt clear protocol or action, it was always "trying to put out a fire". So, this would require us to jump to different task, and entirely shift gears, while management continued to drive progress and expect deadlines to be met. I guess most jobs work this way to a degree, but it didnt feel authentic, it more so felt like a method to make us move quicker or what have you. Call me crazy lol And, also, the amount of scheduled and unnecessary meetings, becomes a bit annoying and monotonous. Seemed like more of a way to personally check in, rather than conveying the task at hand. Most things, like most jobs, could have been emailed lol All in all, its a job. You could always find things to complain about but it wasnt such a bad time. Sometimes long days until you get the hang of things, but it was a relatively good position. Companies arent this perfectly run system, everyday is a work in progress. So, essentially what I'm saying is, I'd apply if I was you. Good luck!
