Pros
1. Get to talk to customers and help people. 2. The owners of Accel and the Richmond office are great! The job doesn’t take a rocket scientist but everyone needs to be on the same page. The Manager at the Richmond office is awesome!
Cons
I was in an accident and didn’t even get to work my full 90 days, not even close, They let me go and told me I wasn’t a good fit! There were two people that would babysit your daily calls and if you had a bad experience they held it against you. I had three bad calls my entire time and who knows how many good!! I never left my desk for 9 hours except to go to the restroom. I know I was a good fit, I did this for 27 years. You will get told by 3 people different ways of doing things. They don’t even meet with you before letting you go to be able to challenge their issues with you. They don’t care about you as a person. I got hurt while traveling for them and came back asap, still in pain, but it hurt me being out. Because I am older I really think they thought I was gonna miss a lot more time and that was not the case I was getting better. They did not give me a fair chance. I never had one evaluation. They make you spend so much time messaging them when talking is so much quicker. They hold a few bad experiences over your head and don’t look at the good. You have to be in with the right “group”. They talk about each other, which is sad. This happened on two occasions during my training. It’s like a competition between them, but they act kind to each others face. I liked it here until they totally stabbed me in my back! A technician could cuss at a lady and keep his job…. Hmmm?
